It is only just a week before "Total War: Warhammer" fans can lay their hands on the free Bretonnia DLC which was announced last year. Creative Assembly, a British video game developer, has whipped up an "in-engine cinematic trailer" that reportedly sets the tune of what the new faction is going to bring to the fight. This also marks the imminent arrival of the Arthurian army of gleaming knights, majestic Pegasus, unwashed peasants, and towering trebuchets as well.

This Bretonnia DLC will allow the faction to be a fully playable one in the Grand Campaign. Additionally, it comes with an expanded roster for multiplayer and custom battles. It is expected to add three new Legendary Lords, new mechanics for Chivalry, Peasant Economy, Knightly Vows, a "comprehensive new Bretonnian army roster," and a Green Knight. Note that the Green Knight can be summoned forth when players are in great need, PCGamer writes.

As per Steam listing, "Total War: Warhammer's" Bretonnia campaign provides an exceptional yet different experience to the other playable racers of the game. A huge portion of the player's success is said to be built about how chivalrous their actions are. In addition, it is a major factor that can have a huge impact on the player's kingdom internally and externally.

The listing further states that it is essential for players to retain a high level of chivalry for them to reach an overall campaign access. As players' campaign progresses and their chivalry reaches a specific threshold, this would cause a dilemma that leads to The Errantry War. It is said to be a climactic endgame battle that is built around Bretonnian lore. The Bretonnia faction DLC will be live on February 28, and will be free for everyone. For fans who cannot wait for its launch, VG247 details that players can in fact access it a day early by signing up for Total War Access.
