"Injustice 2" is an upcoming fighting video game being developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to 2013's "Injustice: Gods Among Us." The game is scheduled for release on May 16, 2017, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The series will debut digitally on April 11, and come to a comic book store near you on May 3.

Last year, it was announced that Tom Taylor, who wrote the majority of the original "Injustice: Gods Among Us" comic series, would be writing a new comic series before the game's release. According to GameSpot, Taylor wrote a majority of the original "Injustice: Gods Among Us" comic series

The "Injustice 2" comic writer revealed during a recent interview that he met with game director Ed Boon, who "grinned ear-to-ear" when Taylor told him some early ideas for the story. Since the comics and the games act as different chapters of the same story, Taylor is also very excited to play the title's story mode when it is released later this year.
