Did you fail to pre-order your very own Nintendo Switch? Well, GameStop has something to offer to solve your worries ahead of the launch of the console on March 3.
On Wednesday, the games and consoles distributor announced that it has a few units of the new Nintendo product for those who have not yet secured one. This means that walk-in clients would still have the chance to enjoy the upcoming device. However, it should be noted that this supply is "limited."
"Customers ho were not able to pre-order the system are encouraged to attend GameStop's midnight launch events held at stores across the nation for an opportunity to purchase Nintendo's revolutionary new home gaming system," the company said on the availability of Nintendo Switch for walk-in customers.
GameSpot Senior Vice President Bob Puzon pointed out that with the limited supply of the gaming system, interested customers must arrive at the launch venue earlier than the rest.
"Our teams made this happen," he said about the availability of Nintendo Switch at the company's midnight launch. "I would strongly suggest customers plan on attending one of our midnight launch events for a shot at securing one of these extra units. They will go fast!"
The units will be sold in two different bundles. The first one will be offered for $429.99. This includes the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" game title. Meanwhile, the second bundle will be up for grabs for $454.99. Aside from the console and controller, it also comes with "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" official strategy guide.
It can be recalled that back in January this year, pre-orders for the unit began. Best Buy, Walmart, and Target were among the first stores that revealed that their expected stocks of Nintendo Switch were sold out.
