"One Piece: Burning Blood" will be released soon. It is so far the most complex and biggest "One Piece" game.

The upcoming game will feature an extravagant roster with a number of the series' most influencial characters such as Kuzan, Doflamingo, Zoro, and Luffy. It will also feature a complex fighting engine that will allow players to make use of Haki in order to make stronger attacks.

Koji Nakajima, the series' producer, was interviewed by PlayStation Lifestyle. He spoke little of the game and the excitement that it will bring to its waiting fans. He also emphasized that the upcoming game is the only game in the "One Piece" series that will bring forth a one-on-one battle.

"We're focusing on the adventure of the "One Piece" series, and you can have an experience with Luffy through original stories. This particular type of gameplay, though, is focusing on original fighting scene. Usually Luffy is seen fighting against a strong enemy each episode, and sometimes he's fighting against a fusion of enemies. We tried to approach that situation in this title," Nakijima said about the game's fighting style and its special treats.

The series producer also said that they tried to recreate the Devil Fruit detail so players can make them, but original combos are present too. He also added that the voices of the characters in the game are from the anime program.

Talking about the game's roster, Nakijima said that as of the moment, they cannot reveal the exact number of characters yet. However, since it is a fighting game, they are planning to have a long list of them.

"One Piece: Burning Blood" is set to be released in Europe and North America in June, Design N Trend reported.
