"Resident Evil 7" focuses on a new location and new characters for the most part. Capcom is preparing to bring a fan-favorite character back into the "Resident Evil 7" narrative with a new DLC.
This Spring's Not A Hero "Resident Evil 7" DLC will feature the comeback of Chris Redfield. Redfield is a character as old as the franchise itself. The special ops agent made his first appearance in the original Resident Evil game as a playable protagonist and he also appeared in "Resident Evil 6."
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. The game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in January 2017, with the PlayStation 4 version having support for the PlayStation VR headset.
Resident Evil fans who finished "Resident Evil 7" are well aware that Chris makes a cameo in the game, although his brief appearance was shrouded in mystery. In fact, when Chris shows up at the end of the game, he identifies himself simply as "Redfield." Given the indication that it appears he is working with the Umbrella Corporation, some players speculated that it was not the Chris Redfield we have known for more than 20 years.
Capcom has not detailed "who or what he'll be chasing" in the Not A Hero DLC, but fans can expect more details to arrive soon. The Not A Hero DLC will be available free for all players this Spring, but there no official release date yet.
