One of Pixel's best feature has been the Google Assistant, a feature that remained exclusive to the device until about 24 hours ago. In a recent report from Google, it was revealed that the renowned Pixel application can now be downloaded by users whose devices runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 7.0 Nougat. Some of the confirmed smartphone brands that will adapt the Google Assistant are Huawei, Sony, Samsung, HTC and LG.
Interestingly, Google's main reason for launching the Google Assistant to other devices is their goal to have the Assistant wherever it is needed. In a statement released by the company it said "Whether you need to know how to say "nice to meet you" in Korean or just a simple reminder to do laundry when you get home, your Assistant can help. With the Google Assistant on Android phones, you have your own personal, helpful Google right in your pocket."
The Google Assistant has been very popular on the Pixel smartphone, the Google Allo app and the Google Home. The Google Assistant according to MacRumors will arrive in the United States this week. Its English version is also expected to launch in the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada following its US release. Meanwhile, its German language support will soon follow after Google promised to add more language conversion to the feature.
The statement said "The Google Assistant will begin rolling out this week to English users in the U.S., followed by English in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, as well as German speakers in Germany. We'll continue to add more languages over the coming year."
The Google Assistant according to the Ars Technica has been literally renewed compared to its older version. Apparently, a more user-friendly output has been designed in order for users to appreciate the application's user interface.
