The open beta for "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" that wrapped up earlier today shows that it regularly missed the frame-rate mark for consoles, Xbox One and PS4. On the contrary, it offered a smoother experience for PS4 Pro.

The latest video analysis from Digital Foundry compares the PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox One versions and often falls off the 30fps target. The terrible frame-rate drops happen multiple times and making the game stutter often.

The standard PS4 at times drops to 26fps but the Xbox One version got the worst of it dropping to the same frame-rate regularly. The PS4 Pro performs better with a consistent 30fps frame-rate, giving players an overall smoother experience.

This is also true to both 1080p and 4K modes of the latest Sony console. On the game's resolution, Xbox One runs only 900p unlike PS4 that runs at a native 1080p. The PS4 Pro gets a little better with 1440p.

"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" open beta started on Thursday, February 23rd at 6:00 a.m. EST and ended earlier today. Players who joined the beta had the chance to explore regions Itacua and Montuyoc regions.

According to the game's official website, the full game start with Itacua, so players who joined had already familiarized the location before the game's release. Players who finished the activities in Itacua gains an XP boost to unlock new skills and can be used in exploring Montuyoc.

Ubisoft said that Itacua is used to be a peaceful agricultural province that is located in Greenland. This idyllic place is where the Rebellion started and now it is already a guerilla war zone.

To play the game on PC, one would need a minimum requirement an Intel Core i5-2400S (2.5 GHz) or AMD FX-4320 (4 GHz), 6 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD R9 270X. A gamer from Co-optimus tried the game 980TI on his Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM and had a better performance even in 4K resolution.
