An upcoming character in "Overwatch," presumably made by Efi Oladele, is being teased all around the gaming community, and the latest image that popped up only adds more fuel to the hype.
In the official Twitter account of "Overwatch," it has recently tweeted a message that came with a picture that references the young girl. In the tweet, it reads, "[UPDATE] Genius grant recipient and Numbani local Efi Oladele posts curious image on her holovid channel, declaring: "Time to get to work!"
The post was accompanied by an image which features a shopping list. The items on the list are widely presumed by the "Overwatch" community to be parts for the new character.
For starters, the OR-15 chassis found at the top of the list refers to the decimated defense robots due to an attack made on the Numbani airport which took place recently. As for the miniature Tobelstein reactor, one of Zarya's sprays is called "Tobelstein," and it would seem to be the energy source powering her Particle Cannon.
Aside from the fact that it is evident Oladele is building an android or a robot, many reports are coming in as the "Overwatch" gaming community is still baffled as to what appearance will the new character take.
There are already some reports from Blizzard itself as the firm teases the new character. There was an update regarding a fake news of an incident in an airport, which reflected in-game shortly after, and then there was an interview with the gifted young scientist.
In other news, Jeff Kaplan, Game Director of "Overwatch" and Vice President of Blizzard Entertainment, tells the gaming world that the new character is "not who you think it is," according to a post by GameSpot.
There is still very little information to know about the new character that will arrive in the game's roster of playable characters, and players would just have to wait for its global reveal.
