The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature the return of Eddy Gordo and the possible PS4 files size of the game.
A returning character from the "Tekken" franchise has been rumored to be part of "Tekken 7's" growing roster as someone from NeoGaf posted a photo during the "Tekken 7" press event in Brazil.
According to the NeoGaf post, game producer Katsuhiro Harada and game designer Michael Murray were in attendance at the press event and announced that Eddy Gordo will be added to "Tekken 7's" roster and the photo that was taken their was a gameplay of the character.
While Bandai Namco Entertainment did not make any statements regarding Eddy Gordo being added to "Tekken 7", Murray might have acknowledge the rumor via tweet although he did it in a humorous manner. Still, Murray clearly did not debunk nor confirm the rumor.
Eddy Gordo first debut in "Tekken 3" as Capoiera fighter, who is trained by Christie Monteiro's father during his time in prison. Eddy appeared in "Tekken 4", "Tekken 5" and "Tekken 6", as well as in "Tekken Tag Tournament" and its sequel, PlayStation Universe reported.
Murray teased before that "Tekken 7" will have "special characters", but did not provide any further information, however, Harada stated that the paid DLC for the game will feature a special content.
Could this mean that the special content could be these so called "special characters" in "Tekken 7"? Harada teased before that characters like Lei Wulong could be added in the game as a DLC fighter and it could also be said to other characters like Anna Williams, Zafina and Julia Chang who have not yet appeared in "Tekken 7's" promos.
In other news, the possible file size of "Tekken 7" in the PlayStation 4 has been revealed online.
According to the PlayStation Store in the United States, the file size for "Tekken 7" in the PS4 is at 42GB, while the European PS Store claim that it is at 45GB, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Gamers can buy "Tekekn 7" in the form of a Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition. The Deluxe edition includes the "Tekken 7" game and its season pass, which will grant gamers access to many new fighters, stages, and costumes throughout three different content updates.
The "Tekken 7" season pass will also introduce a new game mode, Bandai Namco will announce it later thsi year.
It is currently unknown when the season pass will begin introducing its three waves of content. In addition, the Deluxe Edition also comes with two more playable characters, and 30 metallic costumes for each character.
The Collector's Edition will feature a bulky 12x18 Kazuya and Heihachi figurine, where the two are posed mid-battle, a steel book, a collector’s box, the game itself, and the "Tekken 7" original game soundtrack.
The vampire fighter Eliza from "Tekken Revolution" will be added in the game as a pre-order DLC character.
"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
