New "For Honor" updates will feature a separate playlist for Elimination and Skirmish modes and fighter changes in latest game patch.
Ubisoft announced that Elimination and Skirmish modes in "For Honor" will have their own separate playlist. Players will have the option to set a preference within each playlist before matchmaking starts, but it does not guarantee that they will be thrown into "For Honor" playing at their own terms.
This led to Ubisoft planning to have a separate playlist for Elimination and Skirmish Modes in "For Honor". while both game modes offer death-match styled gameplay, the difference is that Elimination Mode does not allow players to respawn when killed.
It became a source of outcry for gamers playing "For Honor" who do not like the feature in Elimination Mode. There is also complaints regarding the map voting screen in "For Honor", were in it did not always highlight which of the two modes player were voting for.
The playlist breakout was a response to these complaints made by gamers in "For Honor". Community manager Eric Pope stated that thanks to the game’s healthy player numbers, this change was easy to make, but gamers will not expect that "For Honor" will be the same as before, VG 24/7 reported.
