The latest updates for "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will feature details on the release date and a new game in the game in the works after the trilogy remake.
It seems that new details for "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" has been revealed as the game might not be an PlayStation 4 exclusive game as the tweet from the PlayStation Ireland that the "Crash" game will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.
With the gaming fans emphasizing on the word "first", many have speculated or even assume that "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will be released in other gaming platforms like Xbox One or even for the PC, Siliconera reported.
While Activision and Sony have not yet made a statement regarding "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy's" exclusivity, it does seem to point toward something perhaps happening in the future for the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise.
Previous reports announced that "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will launch on the PS4 on June 30. So could this mean that new games for the "Crash Bandicoot" series could be in the works after the trilogy?
PlayStation Europe head Jim Ryan stated that Sony and Activision would continue to tease fans on the future of Crash, but it seems pretty obvious what is in store.
Activision currently owns the rights to the "Crash Bandicoot" series and might as well be the ones to develop the three remastered versions or even a new title afterwards. Without a doubt, Crash Bandicoot will see a new game released. While neither Activision or Sony have confirmed this, it seems the most logical outcome, GameNGuide reported.
The game is an updated version of all three "Crash Bandicoot" games from the first PlayStation console namely, "Crash Bandicoot", "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" and "Crash Bandicoot Warped". The "N.Sane Trilogy" is being developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision.
"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is set to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4.
