Apple appears gearing up for major disruptions this 2016 as the tech giant is reportedly touching down products that again could end up as game-changers. The iPhone, for instance, is expected to deliver monumental upgrades along with other exciting updates and introductions to company's product portfolio.
3 iPhones to unbox
In 2014, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus came out and were followed by the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which redefined Apple's release model since the first iPhone was introduced in 2007. Now there are mounting proofs that the tech giant will again alter its iPhone business strategy by pushing three smartphone models in a year.
The third edition, and likely the first to unbox, is reportedly called the iPhone 5SE that essentially is an enhanced version of the iPhone 5S but with internals that are virtual duplicates of the iPhone 6 - also with the same external build and design. This 4-inch iPhone is set to roll out April 2016 but unveiling will be a month before or March.
Fully overhauled iPhone 7
Coming from the S version, Apple fans expect the iPhone 7 release date this 2016 as a huge jump from last year's build - inside and out. Chatters are increasing by the day that Apple will ditch both the iconic iPhone home button and the age-old 3.5mm headphone jack. The result will be the slimmest iPhone ever but with more power and speed under its hood.
The iPhone 7 is said to be powered by A10 processing chip and its might will be complemented by fresh killer features - wireless earbud, wireless charging, full waterproofing protection and a casing made from the mix of sturdier aluminum alloy and sapphire glass.
Apple iOS 10 and new OS X
New iPhones are always accompanied by new software, which in iPhone 7's case is iOS 10. For desktops and laptops, it would be the sequel to OS X 10.11 that likely will be nicknamed Yosemite Half Dome, Business Insider said in a report.
iPad Air 3 and iPad Pro 2
Apple issued the 12.9-inch iPad Pro last year and the iPad Mini 4 but opted to stick with the iPad Air 2. For 2016, it is highly likely that the Air 3 will drop alongside the enhanced iPad Pro. The move indicates that the company is moving even closer in repackaging its tablet line up as more of an indispensable business tool.
Apple Watch 2
The second-generation Apple Watch will likely arrive by mid-2016 but Apple is reported to rollout additional accessories for the first version of its smartwatch come March or April.
Mac Pro and MacBook Air refreshes
It's been awhile since the Mac Pro saw a bump and Apple watchers are convinced 2016 will be the moment for fans of the high-performance desktop set. A 15-inch MacBook Air is likely on the pipeline too that should bump off the 11-inch build.
Apple TV
The Apple TV is rumored to soar to new heights this 2016 as Apple is said to bring in irresistible contents and killer features that according to experts will redefine (read as kill) the cable television industry.
Apple Car
Speculations are high that the Apple Car development is already in the advanced stage. While the actual release date may not happen in 2016, this one truly disruption from Apple will fire up the discussion on the matter prior to the product's launch time, which should not take too long.
