The miniature PC, the Raspberry Pi Zero W,  is now available with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This pint-sized computer is the new version of the previous Raspberry Pi Zero with wireless connectivity.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation released the new version of the Raspberry Pi Zero with wireless capability due to consumer demands and to commemorate its fifth launching anniversary. The minuscule PC is no different than the previous Raspberry Pi Zero in hardware specifications but has been added the letter "W" which stands for wireless.

The Zero W is powered by a 1GHz single-core CPU with 512MB of RAM. The Zero W features 802.11n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The device has a mini HDMI port, micro-USB OTG port, and a micro-USB port for power supply. The Zero W also comes with a HAT-compatible 40-pin header, composite video and reset headers, and a CSI camera connector.

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is not as strong as the Pi 2 or the Pi 3, but considering its size, it still gets most of the daily work done. The Raspberry Pi Zero W serves as a general purpose computer within the size of the palm minus the peripherals.

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is now available from the usual Raspberry Pi retailers all over the country. It is available at an affordable price of $10 which is double the price of the Zero.

The Raspberry Pi is a tiny single-board computer which is aimed at educating people of all ages on the operation of modern day gadgets. The Raspberry Pi foundation also aims to equip users with knowledge suitable to their future jobs.
