If reports are anything to go by, the new MacBook Pro will see a major revamp in 2017. Ming Chi-Kuo, Apple analyst, has disclosed that the MacBook Pro 2017 will come with a 32GB RAM and the newest seventh Generation Intel Core i-series.
Apple could opt for what is offered by the chip company AMD and move away from Intel Chips, according to a Macworld report. Recently, AMD unveiled its Ryzen CPU that offers more computing muscle per watt than Intel CPU.
According to many reports, the upcoming MacBook Pro will have a longer battery life. It is likely that the software company will decrease price for the MacBook Pro in the second half of this year. It is a practice of the tech company to introduce devices at high prices and then drop prices of the same devices the following year.
At present, 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 and 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar models cost $2,399 and $1,799. The Pro without a Touch Bar is priced at $2,799. Reports indicate that this is the model that will see a price cut.
The company tried hard to be more creative with MacBook Pro 2016; however, several users still were not satisfied with the Touch Bar being the only innovation. Lack of particular ports left several users frustrated for having to attach many adapters.
The software company wants to resolve all the defects that people pointed out and would come out with a laptop that is more creative and better than the present series. Tim Cook said that creative area is extremely important and they will do more in the MacBook Pro area, BGR reported.
He did not disclose what improvements the company has planned for the new laptop. Also, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, MacBook Pro will see a major revamp this year.
