New details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature Episode Gladiolus at PAX East 2017 and more updates on the content of Episode Ignis.
Square Enix announced their line-up of video game titles at this year's PAX East event on March 10-12 in Boston. The list games include "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – A Criminal Past" DLC, "Dragon Quest Heroes 2", "Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius", "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age", "Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward", "Final Fantasy XV – Episode Gladiolus" DLC, "Flame x Blaze", "I Am Setsuna", "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix", "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, "Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ", "NieR: Automata", and "Ride 2", Gematsu reported.
In addition, Square Enix will also have panel presentations for "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age", "Final Fantasy XIV", "Final Fantasy XV" and "NieR: Automata". With Episode Gladiolus mentioned in the line-up gaming fans will now have a chance to play and explore Gladiolus's side of the story in the game's main plot.
Episode Gladiolus will launch on March 28 in "Final Fantasy XV" and the titular character will be joined by Cor Leonis in the side quest. It is rumored that Gladiolus will be facing "Final Fantasy" summon/antagonist Gilgamesh during his DLC episode.
Meanwhile, new details for Episode Ignis" have been revealed as game director Hajime Tabata stated that Ignis's story will be the last DLC episode in "Final Fantasy XV".
Tabata and the rest of the game developers had already planned each episodes in order with Episode Gladiolus being the first as they plan to add enhanced action battle gameplay. Episode Ignis will be the last due due to the significant impact it may have in "Final Fantasy XV's" story and the team needs time to create a solid experience, saving the very best for last, Dualshockers reported.
Episode Ignis is said to be more tactical based gameplay compared to Episode Gladiolus and Episode Prompto.
In addition, "Final Fantasy XV" broke its development cost on day one of its launch and Tabata will launch an off-road Regalia for the game that will allow players to freely drive around in the world, but it is still in development and is currently unknown when it will arrive.
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
