As the opening of the 2016 Mobile World Congress draws closer, a handful of significant leaks have surfaced. The latest one involves the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S7.

A recently leaked photo had been making waves in several tech forums. The leaked image of an array of cameras was believed to belong to the Galaxy S7 flagship device from Samsung.

Just like any other components belonging to Samsung, the camera's specs have been the subject of several undying speculations.

One of the photos is believed to be the front camera module of the Galaxy S7. The array of camera modules was labeled "SM-G930F," a branding that instantly connects it to the Galaxy S7. For the uninitiated, the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a model number SM-G920, so it is only logical that its successor will have a model number close to it.

Speculations based on the hardware design claim that the camera is expected to have a 5 or 8 megapixel sensor.

The second leaked photo is believed to that of the Samsung Galaxy S7 itself. It is hard to tell whether it is in fact the fabled Galaxy S7 since it is protected inside an "anti-leak" case. However, it does sport some design pattern common to Samsung devices.

According to Slash Gear, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled sometime in the latter part of February. Several rumors have already reported about the device's specs. Forums and tech blog sites have become so crowded by these rumors and speculations that it is sometimes hard to tell which one is true.

However, the most common set of specs to surface claim that the Galaxy S7 will have either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or an Exynos 8890 chipset. Some analysts say the Galaxy S7 will come in two variants, one with the Snapdragon chipset while the other has the Exynos chipset. In terms of memory, most speculations agree that it will sport 4GB of RAM.

As for its screen, most rumors agree that the Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.1-inch screen, according to Android Community. Display resolution is reported to be 2K HD, but there are those who claim that Samsung might opt-in for a 4K display.
