Lenovo is speculated to be working on Moto Z (2017). A leaked photo of the alleged smartphone has surfaced.
Last year, LG and Motorola decided to launch smartphones with modular design concept. The LG G5 was a total failure as it was a costly phone and users had to shell out additional money in buying its accessories. Motorola had launched Moto Z, Moto Z Force and Moto Z Play smartphones that allowed users to easily attach Moto Mods accessories on their rear sides.
The three phones were made available with attractive pricing and even its Moto Mods are also available with affordable rates. Now, the company seems to prepping a successor model for the original Moto Z from last year. A leaked image of the smartphone has surfaced to reveal that it will be coming with a design that is similar to its predecessor, The Android Soul reported.
The leaked image of Moto Z (2017) suggests that Lenovo would be coming a few changes in its design. The fingerprint scanner enabled Home button appears more rectangular in shape with rounder corners. The Moto Z (2016) features a square-shaped fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner on Moto Z (2017) appears to be a lot similar to the ones present on the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones that were launched recently.
The Moto Z (2017) appears to be sporting a dual-tone flash for its selfie camera. The original also features a flash selfie shooter, but it is not a dual-tone one. As of this writing, there is no information available on the specifications of Moto Z (2017).
Like most flagships of this year, it is also expected to be driven by Snapdragon 835 chipset. Also, the Moto Mods that are compatible with the first-generation Moto Z would also support its successor model. The Moto Z series was introduced last year to replace the Moto X series, India Today reported.
