Samsung has silently released a smaller version of its Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone, following its release two months ago. The smaller device, called the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, will be having all the same internals as the C7 Pro. Their only difference is said to be the screen and battery size. Moreover, the new addition to the Galaxy C5 lineup carries on its tradition of affordable pricing, beautiful design, and mid-to-high end specs.
According to Gadgets 360, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be sporting an all-metal unibody design with antenna bands on the top and bottom of the handset. The device is said to have a finger sensor embedded right into its home button up front, which is similar to its larger sibling. The placement remains the same for all other hardware which includes the audio jack, power button, volume buttons, and USB Type-C port.
As for Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro's specifications, most of it resemble with the larger variant with an exception for its display, dimensions, weight, and battery. The device will sport a smaller 5.2-inch display.
Its Super AMOLED screen is said to be a Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. A highly capable Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset will be powering the device with its Cortex-A53 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz.
Moreover, Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro's CPU is paired with a 4GB RAM - enough to take on any intensive applications and tasks. The handset is available with a 64GB internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot.
As for the optics, the C5 Pro will sport the same resolution on both front and back cameras. Both will be having 16 megapixels with a f/1.9 aperture which is capable of HD video recording at decent framerates. More so, just like with most devices being offered by Samsung lately, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will also support two SIM cards.
