'Mass Effect Andromeda': NVIDIA Drops Stunning 4K Ansel Screenshot, Recommended PC Specs

The official release date of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is fast approaching and Bioware has confirmed that players will be treated to DLC multiplayer maps for free, similar to "Mass Effect 3." Meanwhile, NVIDIA has added fuel to the excitement of fans for the game with an eye-popping 4K Ansel screenshot from the game. It also detailed the recommended as well as the minimum specs for the PC version of the game.

Bioware's general manager Aaryn Flynn responded to a fan query on Twitter about whether the multiplayer maps will be released for free. "It's going to be just like ME3", Flynn responded. In the last installment of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trilogy, players were offered free DLCs, which contained several multiplayer maps. 

In more news, NVIDIA has sought to generate some hype for the game by releasing a stunning 4K Ansel screenshot on its official Twitter page. The said image shown below was snapped using max settings at 4K with the use of Nvidia Ansel, and notably, it didn't undergo any post-processing, Nvidia revealed.

Moreover, the company has also laid down the 16 options affecting image quality that players can choose from. This includes the recommended and minimum PC specs required for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," Polygon reported.   

For 1280 x 720 resolution, the specs requirement include CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD FX 6350, GPU: GeForce GTX 660, RAM: 8GB, OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (64-bit versions), HDD: 55GB free space and DirectX: Version 11. 

For 1920 x 1080 resolution, NVIDIA recommends players to meet the following: CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX 8350, GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, or GeForce GTX 970, RAM: 16GB, OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (64-bit versions), HDD: 55GB free space and DirectX: Version 11. 

At the moment, a free trial for the game will be available at EA/Origin Access on Xbox One and PC beginning March 16, leading to the game's official launching. "Mass Effect: Andromeda is set for release on March 21 across all platforms in North America and March 23 in Europe.
