"Elder Scrolls Legends," a digital card game from Bethesda, is now ready to play on PC. It has finally come out after a year-long of beta period. The strategic title is downloadable for free via the Bethesda.net launcher.
Moreover, "Elder Scrolls Legends" is also coming to iPad on March 23 while its Android tablet support is slated for next month. Its version on MacOS can be expected in May and if players wish to play it on their mobile phones, they can also look forward to an early summer release date, Engadget reported. Players who are playing on PC now need not to worry on starting over their game once the title is playable on the upcoming platforms since all of their game gear will be transferred.
Meanwhile, EuroGamer details that Bethesda has announced "Elder Scrolls Legends'" first PvE expansion titled "The Fall of The Dark Brotherhood," which is slated to come out on April 5. The said expansion is said to be a new story which will contain new content for solo players. It will include more than 20 missions across more than 40 new cards and three maps. Furthermore, Mac and PC players of "The Elder Scrolls Online" MMO will be getting a free Doom Wolf mount as soon as they download the card game expansion.
Apparently, Hasbro's "Magic: The Gathering" has done exceptionally well with the digital version of its strategic card collection experience, while "Hearthstone" was reportedly making $20 million per month a few years ago. It is not a surprise that Bethesda wishes its very own entry to the genre. With its hook into the IP of one of the bigger MMOs on console and PC, it can't certainly hurt.
Bethesda says that is would be just the first step in making "The Elder Scrolls Legends" a powerful play adventure alongside relating it to "The Elder Scrolls Online's" larger universe. More so, the company plans to add even more features. Some of which include, Twitch integration, in-game tournaments, and a spectator mode. What's more, a release of new card sets and stories are slated to come throughout 2017.
