IllFonic and Gun Media are gearing up for the release of "Friday the 13th The Game" this year with the latest teasers offered at the recently concluded PAX East 2017. A 4-minute trailer for the game showed new locations, new counselors, and brutal slays. Also, a couple of new images have revealed the first look at new Jason Voohees as designed by Tom Savini.
The new trailer for "Friday the 13th The Game" includes the brand new song of Crazy Lixx titled "Killer" in the background. For the entire four minutes, fans witness savage killings that is not for the faint of heart. In one particular scene, one of the campers gets his head chopped off in the hands of a sick killer Jason Voorhees.
Moreover, Gun Media has also unveiled the all-new version of Jason Voorhees that players will encounter in "Friday the 13th The Game." The new models of the infamous antagonist were created by the horror icon Tom Savini.
The main character in the game is based on the movies, "Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan" and "Friday the 13th: Jason Goes to Helland." One of the images released by the game publisher is found below.
"This is the first Jason Voorhees created by Tom Savini since Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984) and the first new Jason in the series since the 2009 film reboot," Gun Media stated in an official press release.
"Friday the 13th: The Game" is a survival horror video game that features asymmetrical multiplayer, where one player plays the role of as Jason while the others are cast as survival campers.
The PAX East 2017 was held on March 10-12 in Boston, MA. Gun Media and IllFonic are yet to reveal the exact release date of "Friday the 13th the Game" this year on Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms.
