The specs, price and release date of the Microsoft Surface Phone are yet to be officially announced by the company. However, there are reports about the potential looks and feature of the upcoming Windows 10-operated smartphone.

With Microsoft lagging behind Apple's iPhone and Samsung Android smartphones, many believe that the tech-giant would no longer venture into the mobile industry after a failed attempt with Nokia's brand. However, there are speculations that the next-generation Microsoft mobile device will soon be released.

Dubbed as Microsoft Surface Phone, the said device will showcase an impressive built and quality. The suggested specs of the device include a 6-inch screen display, which could be bezel-less, according to GizBot.

As a testament to being a Microsoft smartphone, the said device will be running on the Windows 10 Mobile OS. Based on a concept brought to life by Polish designer Bartlomiej Tarnowski, the upcoming Window smartphone will include a metal casing to support the wide bezel-less display.

Moreover, to make its feature more distinct than other flagship products, the Windows 10 device will include a "Type Cover" and a stylus. Thus, making it a mini-Surface Pro look-alike.

The exact release date of this device is yet to be confirmed. However, Market Exclusive opined that the Microsoft Surface Phone might be released in the second half of 2017, after the launch of the Apple iPhone 8.

There has been no confirmation of the price of the upcoming Windows 10 operated mobile device. However, many expect the Windows smartphone to be priced at around $600 to $1100.

That being said, these talks about the upcoming Microsoft smartphone should be taken with a grain of salt. Watch a video about the Microsoft smartphone below:
