The PS Plus free games for April 2017 will feature the third-person online shooter "Drawn to Death" and will be downloadable for free starting April 4 for all PS Plus members when it is released in the US and Europe, and April 4 on PlayStation 4.
Game director David Jaffe officially announced this news. "Drawn to Death" will indeed become available as one of the six free games coming for the PlayStation Plus free games in April 2017.
Jaffe, via the PlayStation Blog, further told fans that he had been discreetly in talks with Sony regarding this bold move to add the game to the Instant Game Collection. He, however, had to keep it a secret until the right time comes along.
When "Drawn to Death" launches, it will introduce players to six unlockable characters, seven levels, six game modes, 26 weapons and a lot more. The game will feature Sphinx Missions, too, where gamers need to unravel battle-focused riddles to gain new weapon or level. It also has 15 mission for every launch character and offers costumes and Taunts as rewards plus an Insane Mystery Special Offer, which remains a mystery as of yet.
Meanwhile, PS Plus free games for April 2017 could likely include a Virtual Reality game in its lineup, according to Twifinite. The report predicted that Sony will add Ubisoft's "Werewolves Within" as the right pick for the program's first featured free VR offering.
The other predicted free games coming to PlayStation Plus this April include "Rainbow Six Siege," "Persona 4 Golden," and "ArmaGallant: Deck of Destiny." While these are not yet confirmed, PS4 game aficionados, it won't be long before Sony officially reveals the other five video games on March 29.
Those interested ing enrolling in the program need to shell out $19.99 to become a PS Plus member. All six free games will be available for download on April 4.
