The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature Gladiolus as a playable character in Chapter 13 and no more episodic release after Episode Ignis.
It seems that Square Enix revealed new details for changes to the controversial Chapter 13 in "Final Fantasy XV" as game producer Haruyoshi Sawatari told TechnoBuffalo that at some point in the game, Noctis will be joined by his friends Gladiolus and Ignis within the chapter, as Sawatari and developer created a separate route for both characters.
Players will now have a chance to control Gladiolus during Chapter 13 in "Final Fantasy XV" and players will have a chance to see his side of the journey. Sawatari also teased that players will have some Gladiolus and Ignis playtime and witness what happened to Emperor Aldercapt and Ravus and where they ended up being the whole time.
These are some of the scenes that gaming fans will see during the revamped Chapter 13 within "Final Fantasy XV." In addition, Sawatari stated that the three magics in the ring of Lucii are now completely powerful in the game.
Meanwhile, there hints that Square Enix might not have new episodic releases for "Final Fantasy XV" after Episode 13 as Sawatari stated that they are have no current plans to add more character standalone stories in the sequel.
Square Enix currently working on the three episodes involving Noctis's friends Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis, and if theywere to work on more they would look at the feedback given by the game’s fans to decide which character to feature, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Episode Gladiolus will launch on March 28 in "Final Fantasy XV," and there is a little teaser for Episode Prompto by the end of the story. Episode Ignis is rumored to a more of a tactical gameplay.
Square Enix expects that the other character DLC, episode Prompto and Episode Ignis, will be similar to Episode Gladiolus in terms of scope and size in "Final Fantasy XV".
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
