Recently, three new sketches of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 have surfaced online revealing its design. The Mi 6 is expected to get officially launched in May instead of April.
In the sketches, the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 appears to have thin bezels on its sides, whereas the top and bottom have thick bezels. The physical Home button is placed below the phone's display and is likely to come with an inbuilt fingerprint scanner.
The USB Type-C port and external speaker grill are placed at the bottom of the phone. On the backside of the phone, there is a dual camera setup at the left corner on the top. Xiaomi's Mi logo is also seen placed little below the center.
Rumors indicate that China-based company is working on three variants of Xiaomi Mi 6. Xiaomi's two flagship phones are said to come powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. One variant is expected to feature dual-edge curved OLED display with quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is pegged to boast 6 GB of RAM and a larger storage of 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 6's second variant is expected to carry a flat OLED display with quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The phone is likely to come packed with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The third variant is speculated to feature MediaTek Helio X30 chipset. It is said to come with a 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB. All the three smartphones are rumored to feature dual rear cameras.
Xiaomi Mi 6 was expected to get unveil in April 16. However, since the starting stock of Snapdragon 835 is assigned for Galaxy S8 duo, the SD 835 powered Mi 6 may not arrive in April. It is now speculated to launch in May, Gizmo China reported.
