Microsoft has officially announced four video games being added to Xbox One Compatibility games list just recently. Xbox Head has also responded to the possible re-release of "Call of Duty 2" as Xbox One compatible.
The Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program continues to expand with the latest addition of four titles as of late. It is noted that among the four games joining the roster of Xbox One compatible games, "Street Fighter 4" is the biggest, both in the aspect of download size at 4GB and fans' official votes of more than 13,000.
On the other hand, many of the fans are still looking for the addition of their most wanted title to make it to the list of the Xbox One Compatibility games ever since this service became available to Xbox One gamers. Sadly enough, it is not yet known if the fan favorite game will be released anytime soon on Microsoft's current gen console.
But Xbox head Bill Stillwell took to Twitter to inform fans that he has heard the fans' cry on social media tweeting, "We want BOII". Stillwell further responded in a lengthy reply with regard to the potential release of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" as Xbox One compatible.
We are still 100% committed to the program," Still explained. "I expect big releases in the near future." He also expressed that he is truly confident in their future plans and that it will make their customers happy.
But he emphasized that it is beyond his power to reveal about these plans, knowing that it has to do with another persons' intellectual property. To launch a big game as re-release into the BC program requires tedious collaborated work.
On the part of Activision, it has not yet made a comment or any clue of a re-release of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. Hence, fans have yet to wait for this possibility to come into fruition in the near future.
