The upcoming mobile app "Super Mario Run" is expected to come this week. The release date of "Super Marion Run" has been confirmed, and according to the latest news, it will arrive on Thursday, March 23.
Nintendo confirmed the news. The tech company has mentioned that "Super Mario Run" will be available on Android in March. The mobile game is expected to come with the Version 2.0.0 update, according to Game Spot. As of the moment, this is the only detail that has been revealed.
Nintendo of America, one of the official Twitter accounts of Nintendo, announced there would be an Android version of "Super Mario Run." It also shared a link for pre-registration.
"Super Mario Run" was first released for iOS devices exclusively back in December 2016. After it became available on iOS devices, many people like it. It reportedly racked up 78 million downloads by Nintendo's latest count.
The game's free download version comes with a sampling of levels. To unlock every course, gamers need to pay $10. About five percent of its players have paid to buy all the courses, according to Nintendo. Apparently, the game has delivered revenue to the company.
Four days after it was released, the mobile app reached 40 million downloads. By Dec. 23, 2016, it had about ten million downloads.
Despite its achievements, "Super Mario Run" has received criticisms. To get its iOS version, players need to pay £7.99 or $9.92. Some gamers find it too much to pay for a mobile game.
The mobile app is not also playable offline. This means you need to turn on the data or net connection.
In celebration of its worldwide achievement, the Japanese tech company gave out 10 Rally Tickets for the Toad mode. Recently, the mobile app has been updated with the "Super Mario Run" Friendly Run game mode. The update lets users race against the ghosts of their friends in Toad Rally.
