Tech enthusiasts have been waiting for Apple to shed more light about the release date, specs, and other details of the next iPad. Unfortunately, the Cupertino-based tech giant is in no mood to answer such fuss. Despite this, the internet is still full with all sorts of rumors and leaks regarding the iPad Pro 2.
Several reports claim that the iPad Pro 2 could possibly be announced sooner instead of later. Apparently, an acclaimed research firm has told MacWorld that the Cupertino-based tech giant is gearing up to unveil a new line of products this month, specifically, within the week of March 20.
However, the said sources did not specify what products Apple would be unveiling; neither did they shed more light on whether or not the announcements will be coming with a press event. Nonetheless, Mac Otakara has confirmed it.
With some local analysts claiming that Apple will be revealing a second-generation 9.7-inch iPad Pro next week, the Japanese blog alluded to them. The analyst apparently cited the company's lack of supply chain information and scheduled event for next week.
It is worth recalling that Apple typically sends out invitations to the press at least 10 days before a launch event. However, this has not been the case as of now. There is a possibility as well that the Cupertino-based tech giant will be secretly sending out a press release and update its online stores, or it will have a last-minute revelation.
There's a word floating around that apparently the 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 model will be just an iterative upgrade, and a press release could be a way of revealing the device. Furthermore, this model is expected to sport whooping quad microphones. Also, other rumors running rampant online suggest that the device will be packed with a comparatively faster Apple A10X chip. Additionally, Apple is testing new iPad models in Cupertino and nearby locations, as per TechCrunch.
