Capcom disappointed fans when it did not confirm the "Disney After Collection" for the Nintendo Switch, but Limited Run Games distributor is coming to the rescue.
In a recent interview with the Gaming Trend, Douglas Bogart, the co-founder of Limited Run Games, was asked whether they plan to release games for the Switch and his answer could not be more encouraging. "We are currently working on getting on the Nintendo Switch! It's looking very positive and we hope to have our first title out this summer, fingers crossed!" he said
If so, players are betting on the "Battle Princess Madelyn" to arrive on the Nintendo Switch. "Limited Run Games" has remained true to its service of providing digital only copies of videogames. While there hasn't been any title confirmation for the company's expansion to Switch, it's likely that some announcements will be made during the summer.
Meanwhile, the "Battle Princess Madelyn" Kickstarter campaign is underway and Limited Run Games hopes to distribute physical copies of the game to PS4 and PC. Apparently, the company has expanded to a certain level that allows to extend their services to physical copy distribution.
When asked about the Limited Run Games management, Bogart confirmed that he manages the company alongside another partner. But the number of employees have significantly expanded, and now, they are a company of seven.
A few days ago, Capcom announced that it is going to re-release its "Disney Afternoon Collection" to several gaming platforms excluding the Nintendo Switch. The news disappointed fans given that the games were formerly titles on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
