Users of Nintendo Switch miss out on playing "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" as indicated in a recent update about its release on the new hybrid console. However, Ubisoft has declined to say anything when asked to comment on this report.

Initially, there were talks that "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

A tweeted GIF posted on the South Park official Twitter account showed a freezing Cartman with the caption"Nin-ten-do. I'm coming. I'm coming, Nin-ten-do #blizzard2017." This sparked speculations that the game will be launched as one of the new titles on the Switch.

However, a spokesperson for the South Park studio through Comedy Central told IGN that at this time, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" would not be coming to Nintendo's latest gaming console. The earlier tweet was apparently meant to just have a little fun at the tremendous blizzard that hit the east coast of the US.

It might also be a clue that the game could get a release on Nintendo Switch sometime in the future.

Meanwhile, Sony is doing a refund for the game's pre-order, a month following the announcement of a delay in its release for the second time. A Reddit user shared this detail to inform other players that they'll be getting a refund for their pre-orders.

"South Park: The Fractured But Whole" is set for release within its upcoming fiscal year, which is from March 2017 to April of 2018. It was first slated to hit PS4 and Xbox One on December 6, then pushed back to first quarter 2017. Ubisoft said that it aims to satisfy the high expectations of fans. Hence, it needs more time to do so.
