"Sniper Elite 4" will receive its first expansion today, March 21, alongside the Night Expansion Pack. Called Deathstorm, it will feature a new storyline that can be played single-player or co-op.
Deathstorm is a three-part campaign that will be released by the developer for the game beginning next month. Tim Jones of Rebellion Development has released an introduction about the new DLC:
The mission happens after the events of Sniper Elite 4, where its takes players as Karl Fairburne's character to the chilling terrain of the northern Italy. Fairburne is to infiltrate a Nazi naval base called Rocca sul Mare and somewhere inside this stronghold is the package that is codenamed Deathstorm.
The first part is called Deathstorm Part 1: Inception and just like the other missions in the main campaign, it will challenge players with a lot of objectives within a huge environment. Karl's mission is not just to get the package, but also to help to destroy the entire base and he will do this task faced with a magnificent scaffolding, an enormous German destroyer, and warehouses with full of Kriegsmarine soldiers to deal with.
Gamers of "Sniper Elite 4" can make a separate purchase of Deathstorm Part 1: Inception at the PlayStation Store or as part of the game's Season Pass beginning today, March 21. Also, the Season Pass will guarantee players an access to all of the paid content of the game including the Night Fighter Expansion Pack which will also about to go live today.
The Night Fighter Expansion Pack is a night-time themed camo skins for rifle, selection of weapons and camo outfits for characters. The weapons include the OVP M1918, Mauser and Nagant that can be used in all modes.
"Sniper Elite 4" is developed and published by Rebellion Developments on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It was launched as a direct sequel to the third game last February 14, 2017.
