(Photo : YouTube/ Pokemon Go) Pokemon Go latest update rolled out the new version, 0.59.1 for Android and 1.29.1 for iOS on March 21.

Someone has found out a speed-bypassing glitch while another discovered that special items could be found at a fixed-time.

Driving while playing Pokemon Go is highly discouraged as it might result in car accidents.  Niantic knows this well and has hence disabled a function allowing players to collect Pokemon rewards when they are moving faster than 30mph.

BGR, however, reported that a Pokemon Go player has discovered a way to bypass the restriction. The trick is not meant for someone driving a car though as you needs to firmly hold your phone. This is best executed by a car passenger playing Pokemon Go - at least until Niantic fixes the glitch.

Reddit user CatFrog Arts said, "I've recently discovered if you open up the journal and close it close enough to a Pokestop, no matter how fast you are traveling, you'll be able to get the loot."

Another user Praemonitus provided more details: "As soon as the Go+ turns blue, tap the stop on the screen, press the Go+ button, and manually spin the stop (on your phone) in rapid succession. Not sure what exactly happens, but the Go+ request cancels out the speed limit during its cooling off period (blinking red) to allow a manual spin to register. It takes a few tries to nail down, which is why it is FOR PASSENGERS ONLY."

Time-bound special items

The Inquisitr, meanwhile, reported that a couple of users on Silph Road claim that they have collected special items at the same time of the day, every day.  They found out that special items could be available at the same time of the day for a specific player.

Someone, for example, can get a special item today when he spins a PokeStop at 7:05 p.m. and would get the same special item at exactly the same time the next day.
