Bethesda will likely feature the "Fallout 4" VR at the upcoming E3 2017 instead of the much anticipated "The Elder Scrolls VI". The latest update on the event as well as Bethesda's plans reveal that "Fallout 4" VR is currently under development and the developer/publisher has not been secretive of its latest update.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, as early as E3 2016, the "Fallout 4" VR the game is playable at the event, but with very limited content and concept. Apparently at the time, Bethesda was introducing the VR version of the game, hence its early prediction that this year will be its formal introduction.
Meanwhile, "The Elder Scrolls VI" is still under development. This is what Bethesda's Pete Hines confirmed during a YouTube encounter with the HipHop Gamer. He revealed that although they are developing the game, it will be a long way before they can actually introduce and launch the title. He also denied rumors that "The Elder Scrolls VI" is all set to be released anytime this year.
The "Fallout 4" VR on the other hand is said to be the developer's main attraction at the upcoming E3 2017. AoTF had the chance to play the "Fallout 4" VR last year and commented about how limited the scope of the game was. Apparently, Bethesda scaled back the game that unfortunately removed some of the fun explorations in the game. Also, the VR version of "Fallout 4" readily makes players teleport in order to roam around a single map.
Bethesda recently expressed its excitement on the arrival of the Nintendo Switch wherein, some of their games are being developed for the platform. Hines also believes that the Switch could be Nintendo's longest running console in the future.
