Huawei is said to launch Honor V9 smartphone in Europe on April 5. The smartphone is rumored to launch with Honor 8 Pro moniker
Huawei had launched Honor V9 smartphone in China in February. The China-based company confirmed at an unveil event will be held in Europe on April 5 at 10.30 GMT. However, the company did not disclose the name of the smartphone.
Huawei has also begun a poll asking its fans to guess on the phone that will be launched in the coming month. It has teased its fan with options such as Honor V9, Honor Magic and Honor 8 Lite.
Honor V9 is said to be leading with highest vote followed by Honor magic. Two weeks back, the well-known tipster Roland Quandt suggested that Honor V9 is likely to launch outside China. He also said that the phone may come by the name Honor 8 Pro.
In the teaser, an object from the space hitting the earth is seen. It appears to have three colors such as Gold, Blue, and Black. Earlier, the same leakster claimed that the phone will be coming in three colors Gold, Blue, and Black. It is said that out of the three variants the Red color will not be launching outside China.
The Honor V9 sports a 5.7-inch display with a quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It is powered by Kirin 960 chipset. It comes in a 4 GB and a 6 GB of RAM. It has two storage options of a 64 GB and a 128 GB. The phone also include microSD card slot.
The phone is running on Android 7.0 Nougat. It features a 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual rear cameras. On its front, it sport an 8-megapixel shooter and is packed with a 4,000 mAh capacity battery. The smartphone also support fingerprint sensor that is mounted on it's backside, GSMArena reported.
