HTC will be releasing its latest flagship smartphone which is the HTC Ocean. According to recent reports, this will be the official name of the device and it will not be named as the widely known HTC 11.
A lot of speculations has spread out since late 2016 that the upcoming flagship smartphone will be named as HTC 11. From then, a lot would refer and use that name but recent reports officially claimed that the upcoming device will be called the HTC Ocean.
The designer of the company was the source of the reported information that made analysts to speculate about the name of the upcoming flagship smartphone. The HTC Ocean will be more of an enhanced HTC 10 as per HTC's description of the device. Furthermore, the device will be similar to its predecessor in terms of physical design, as stated by MobileMag.

The HTC Ocean will reportedly sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 by 2560 pixels and Quad HD resolution. Additionally, it will be powered with Qualcomm's most recent and powerful chip in the market, the Snapdragon 835 SoC.
It is expected to have the feature of Quick Charge 4.0 technology since it will be equipped with a very powerful chipset. When it regards to its optics, the device will have a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The smartphone will also run on Android Nougat, reported by Trusted Reviews.
The upcoming flagship smartphone is reported to have a feature that enables users to operate the functions of the smartphone with Sense Touch. It will only need users to tap or swipe the edge of the device to gain access.
