With the Nintendo Switch getting more popular, the market is starting to see some amazing custom Joy-Con designs on social media.
Among the most popular so far are the Famicom-themed set and the custom purple GameCube Joy-Con that resembles the original GameCube Controller.
Nintendo Entertainment Switch (NES) is known as (Family Computer) Famicom system in Japan. It comes in a stunning gold and maroon color with its two controllers attached on either side.
TechNews stated that: "We'd say this is a pretty stunning tribute, especially since the Nintendo Switch also comes with two controllers that you can use to play multiplayer games on the go."
The Famicom-themed set has handle grips with an easy removal function so you could easily snap on and off if you do not want to use them.
Talented guys from Boss Fight Props, meanwhile, have revealed a GameCube-inspired Nintendo Switch Joy-Con where controllers and grip are painted in classic purple, while the buttons are colored red and green to invoke retro memories.
Nintendo Life commented that if only the right Joy-Con analog stick was painted yellow, then this would be almost perfect.
A Reddit post by IanMazgelis reads: "I really wish Nintendo would make a Gamecube Joy-Con variant' continues to top the chart with nearly 1,500 comments as of this writing.
According to Nintendo Life, Gamecube appears more likely to become one of the new systems to be added when Nintendo rolls out its new Virtual Console service for the Nintendo Switch.
The new Nintendo Switch console is reportedly continuing to set record sales, despite stock shortages.
