Cortana has been a household name for quite some time. New reports say that the said advancement would allow users to ask series of questions and set daily reminders without trying to unlock their smartphone.
According to Android Authority report, the Microsoft's digital assistant is trying to get on top as it reveals more features on its Android edition. Sources told that Microsoft has been blatant in expressing that Cortana is more advanced than the usual as it could be used while the user's Android phone is on lock screen.
It was remembered that Cortana was already available in lock screen during the last update, allowing consumers to check on news and weathers. However, it was reiterated that its new version is already maximized as it would also include a great support in actual voice commands.
Moreover, Cortana made for Android officially announced that a new interface would come everyone's way. The said interface would allow consumers to take a look at their daily schedule quickly and easily. This would include additional items specifically current commute times and upcoming reminders. Not just that, the digital assistant would also let users add reminders and calendars events in just a snap.
On the other hand, it is revealed that Cortana would be made available in Australia for both Android and iOS. Before, China and US were the first two countries to have experienced the digital assistant last December 2015. Up until now, there is no confirmation as to which country would Cortana go next.
Reports also claimed that Cortana is likely to be more relevant for the Windows 10 users as the app offers an outstanding Google integration. News revealed that Windows 10 devices would allow the digital assistant to automatically sync any appointments and reminders on the dot. Also, if users happen to miss any call, Cortana would immediately notify and allow users to send a message back to the sender without touching your device.
