Ubisoft has soft-launched "Tom Clancy's ShadowBreak" in Canada for iOS and Android devices. The all new mobile game will also arrive to US and other players located from various regions of the globe later this year.
The game publisher has revealed some exciting details of its latest Tom Clancy title to hit the mobile platforms in a post at its official blog. It has also unveiled the reveal trailer for what is known as a real-time multiplayer sniper shooter that also comes with tactical missions/objectives.
The game's matches last for three minutes and gamers must allocate time to deploy troops and some of it to find the most suitable sniping place for themselves. The game additionally includes a wide range of gun choices with up to four unique firearms to be used in every match.
Those who play Tom Clancy games know that strategy is a pivotal aspect of the game. In "Tom Clancy's ShadowBreak", players take on a role of an elite sniper. In charge of command of the squad, they must carry out tactical decisions to position the troops that will have the most effective strike.
"Tom Clancy's ShadowBreak" takes place in a not so distant future where the world is under a colossal threat of factions called Shadow Nations. An initiative known as ShadowBreak sends off players to an important mission to eliminate these bad guys.
Creative director AJ Morales has further confirmed that "Tom Clancy's ShadowBreak" will continually receive support post launch. "We're hoping to give our players new modes, units, weapons, arenas, and more to keep them engaged and competitive for quite some time," Morales said. "For us, this isn't a one-and-done scenario. Our team is in this for the long haul."
