Ubisoft's hack and slash fighting game, "For Honor", has received a new update the was released yesterday, March 30. The latest patch introduces a new hero customization options, increase in steel income, a free three-day Champion Status and more.
The game publisher has recently released the latest update for "For Honor". First off, it features a free-day Champion Status to make up for the online outage that happened on March 28. The development team is also investigating the lost Faction War rewards and aims to eventually solve this issue soon.
In addition, the March 30 update has also brought in a new hero customization to the game. It adds 12 new Elite outfits that are themed per Faction and one for each hero. These include Battlefield Chic outfits for Knights, the Death Ravens costumes for Vikings and Death Blossoms skins for Samurai. All the new cosmetic items are up now in the store.
Also, Ubisoft has increased the Steel income on all matches and orders in-game and these changes can up the daily income by 45% in the first two hours. All matches Steel income increases by 25%, Daily Orders Steel income by 33% and Side Orders Steel income by 50%. The Community Orders Steel rewards are also increased from 500-1000 to 2000 Steel.
Producer Stephane Cardin, in a recent blog post, stated that the team is continuously working to stabilizing the game experience in "For Honor". Cardin added that the studio is also doing the balancing of heroes, adding the deleted maps back in the game. The first one to be added back is River Fort and High Fort will be next.
"For Honor" was released on February 14, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC hardware. The latest update went live after a 20-minute server maintenance break that started at 11:00 a.m. ET on March 30.
