April is here and it means that game aficionados are only a couple of months away from the celebrated Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017. A new leak of the E3 game list, however, has been exposed online, suggesting a new 'Batman' game presentation at the event in June.
Apparently, several images said to indicate the official list of the E3 2017 games to be unveiled by various game developers and publishers surfaced online, courtesy of Costa Rican gaming site UP2Play. One of these captured images showed that Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment is slated to present two games namely, the new "Batman" game and the "Shadow of War".
As further shown in the photo, one can notice a tiny asterisk indicated in the listing wherein it means that an official announcement of the game will in fact happen at E3 2017. The same will likely be the case for Ubisoft's two new titles, "Beyond Good and Evil 2" and "Assassins Creed 2017", which could have been planned for an E3 debut.
If fans can recall, developer Rocksteady Studios was quoted saying that they're done with the "Batman" game series, with "Batman Arkham" VR as the last. However, if the latest leak is to be believed, it is possible that this new game would be follow-up to Arkham Origins follow-up or a "Justice League" game from WB Montreal.
So far, nothing is set in stone as of now while WB or Rocksteady has yet to confirm the official announcement of the new "Batman" game at E3 2017. But E3 is just around the corner to find out if this report of the confirmed E3 game list is legit or not.
In more news, the "Batman Arkham" VR is now confirmed to no longer be a PS4 exclusive. The game will hit PC hardware via HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on April 25. Stay tuned for more of the latest updates on the new "Batman" game in the coming days.
