ASUS has announced its all-new high-performance ROG Poseidon GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, featuring a hybrid cooler that can run on its own with a dual-fan cooler. The ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon edition comes factory overclocked. Its hybrid cooler would packs two dust-proof fans, multiple heat pipes, a large heatsink, and a water block.
According to a source, the company has revealed that the new ROG Poseidon GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be better than the GTX 1080 Ti Strix. However, once it is under water, the temperatures will come down substantially. The Asus ROG Poseidon GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is an air-cooled card, but it can perform better when incorporated into a liquid-cooling loop. Additionally, it has standard G1/4-inch fittings to allow for easy integration.
According to a recent report, Poseidon is equipped with Aura Sync illumination and with a factory overclock, however, Asus is still keeping some details undisclosed. There's no word yet on what the shipping speeds will be, and as well as the MSRP, given that regular air-cooled GTX 1080 Ti cards are roughly priced around $998.
