The supposed 2017 iPad Pro 2 is facing the same fate as the MacBook Air, this is until such time Apple confirms its existence. Since 2015 when Apple released the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, it was then followed by a much smaller and practical version; the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which did not even have it's own name version.

As the 2017 approaches, fans are hopeful that the all new iPad Pro 2 will arrive despite Apple's lack of enthusiasm to confirm or deny its presence. Meanwhile, reports online hinted that the new device from Apple will arrive on March 24, unfortunately it was never the iPad Pro 2 that fans hoped it would be.

In the latest news and review by The Verge, the device apparently came and was simply named iPad. That being said, it could be something that is refurbished, just like the MacBook Air with an upgraded software waiting to tried on by willing consumers. The review on the other hand will unlikely entice fans, with comments like "buy it if your previous iPad is broken."

The all new 2017 iPad is considered to be a replacement for the iPad Air, which considerably differ in thickness. The supposed iPad Pro 2 (iPad 2017) is thicker than the iPad Air. It has a Retina display of with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. While it did not have the expected True Tone display that consumers were accustomed to on the iPad Pro, there are other features that compensate its absence.

Unfortunately, the iPad is also observed to be more reflective than the iPad Air, which makes it more difficult to use outdoors. But for the price of $329, the all new Apple iPad is practical enough to have. According to the MacWorld, it's unlikely that Apple will release a new iPad line, particularly the iPad Pro 2 this year, since Apple's last event did not mention anything about the iPad line.
