A 3D render of the LG G5 smartphone has surfaced that shows how the smartphone would appear with 5.6-inch screen, dual-camera setup and other purported features.
At the start of this year, several schematics of the purported LG G5 had surfaced indicating that the South Korean would launch it with a revamped design. The LG G5 is rumored to come with full metallic chassis. Unlike other full metal uni-body smartphones, the LG G5 is expected to feature a replaceable battery through a removable bottom panel, Android Authority reported.
Rumors also suggest that the volume controllers that are present on the rear panel of the LG G4 have been moved to left edge of the LG G5. On the rear, the LG G5 is expected to house a dual-camera setup. Below it, there will be a fingerprint scanner. The display will appear wider as it the smartphone will be sporting thinner bezels. It is also expected to sport a curvy design to provide better grip to the user.
Based on the aforementioned leaked information and diagrams of the alleged LG G5 cases, Technoconfigurations have created 3D renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone from LG. It has revealed that the LG G5 will be coming with a 5.6-inch display screen. The LG G4 from 2015 sports a 5.5-inch display. Like the G4 and G3 smartphones, the G5 will carry support for Quad HD resolution.
The LG G5 smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset that constitutes a quad-core processor and Adreno 530 graphics. The SoC of the smartphone will be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM.
The dual camera system is likely to feature 16 MP and 8 MP cameras. It would be decked with features like 4K resolution video shooting, laser autofocus and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). On the front, the LG G5 is expected to sport an 8 MP selfie snapper.
The LG G5 is expected to feature a USB Type-C connector. Also, it is likely to sport a slimmer design of 8.2 mm. On Feb. 21, the South Korean company will be holding a launch event.
Even though the company has not revealed any official information, the LG G5 smartphone is expected to get unwrapped on Feb. 21. It is interesting to note that Samsung will also be holding a launch ceremony for the Galaxy S7 smartphone on the very same date, Phone Arena reported.
