Sports video game fans will get the chance to get their hands on "FIFA 18" ahead of its slated release date this coming September. Electronic Arts confirmed that a demo will be playable at EA Play in June, a couple days prior to E3 2017.
The EA-centric event will kick off on June 10 and end on June 12 and will feature a playable demo for "FIFA 18" as well as other EA games such as "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" and the new "Need for Speed" game. Tickets to the occasion will be available for sale starting April 20 at 9:00 a.m. PST or 5:00 p.m. BST.
Players will be able to get a taste of "FIFA 18" this summer at EA Play before the full game will be launched in September. The demo will also allow them to get a look at how this year's entry to the series in comparison to the past games.
Earlier this year, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that the single-player mode will make a comeback for a second spin. Wilson further revealed that EA's development team based in Vancouver, Canada is working on innovative new experiences for this year's iteration. It includes an Ultimate Team and also aims to create a superlative and full connection in the game that it has not done ever before.
In 2016, Electronic Arts event went to UK to hold the event dedicated for "FIFA 17" at the monumental Hammersmith Apollo in London as it also linked up a live stream to its E3 2016 conference in L.A..
This year, it looks like EA Play will not be coming to Britain once more. However, players will be able to get some substantial gameplay details, competitive events and exclusive interviews via EA Play Online.
"FIFA 18" is slated for September 2017 release on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. It is also confirmed to hit Nintendo's newest available hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch.
