Official release details on "Death Stranding" are soon to be unveiled at Tribeca Game Festival happening later this month. Meanwhile, the latest cast update indicates the involvement of Stefanie Joosten, the actress behind character of Quiet from the famous "Metal Gear Solid" series.
Acclaimed game producer Hideo Kojima is set to appear at the very first Tribeca Games Festival on April 28 to April 29. The event will be held at The Tribeca Festival Hub at Spring Studios in New York.
The legendary game creator's attendance is confirmed by Tribeca itself via its official Twitter account. Other notable people from the gaming industry will also join the gaming festival alongside Kojima.
Now speculations abound that Kojima will discuss more about "Death Stranding" and reveal more fresh details about the game at the said event. Perhaps, he can shed light on the ongoing rumors of Emma Stone being cast in the game or not.
Talking about the game's cast, new reports surfaced that Stefanie Joosten will also star in "Death Stranding", shortly after Stone was rumored to be featured in the game. This buzz among players came out when Kojima was seen wearing a hat that has the actress' image in his latest Episode 6 of HideoTube.
Other hints cited was when Joosten made a visit at Guerrilla Games, the studio behind the Decima engine used to develop "Death Stranding". The actress was also asked the game while promoting her new movie, "Rekindle" at Dutch Comic Con, as per PlayStation Universe.
"I can't say anything about that, unfortunately," she replied smiling. But it is also noted that the actress has been tweeting about "Death Stranding" on her Twitter page.
"Death Stranding" is an open-world action video game currently in development by Kojima Productions as an exclusive title for PlayStation 4. The game's release date is not yet set in stone but it is expected to come out in 2019.
