Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones will be available on pre-orders from April 11, but the rumors about next-generation Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 flagships have already surfaced.
According to The Bell which has cited unnamed industry contacts, Samsung has prepared a team that has allegedly started working on the displays that would be arriving on the Galaxy S9 phone since March. if this is true, it means that the South Korean is around 6 months ahead of its schedule when compared to the previous year. It could be because of the rigorous quality control process that has company began practicing after the discontinuation of Galaxy Note 7 in 2016.
The same source has also stated that after working on the display, the other hardware parts of the phone will also enter developmental phases in the near future. At present there are no information available on the speculated features of the Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the first phones from Samsung to arrive with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch screens. Some fresh information of the forthcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone have also surfaced. As previous rumors have hinted, the Note 8 is speculated to come with a 6.32-inch dual-edge curved screen. It this comes true, it will be first ever flagship phone from Samsung to arrive with biggest screen. A fingerprint scanner is speculated to be available under the front glass. Recent rumors have also stated that the Galaxy Note 8 is codenamed as Great.
Speculations have also hinted that it would be featuring a pressure-sensitive display like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S. It would be featuring an exclusive Bixby button as seen on Galaxy S8 and S8+.
