"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" was officially revealed on March 8, 2017. Yet, the official date of release is unknown as of the moment. But rumors say that Batman game is set to be launched sometime this year. For now, here are the latest news about the game including new characters, a new storyline, and more.
The "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" is assumed to have taken place three years after the happenings in "Batman: Arkham Origin." Therefore, sets it five years ahead of the hellish night Batman spent in Arkham Island in Asylum.
Once again, Batman will be meeting mass-breakout from the asylum and the Blackgate Prison which led by the Clown Prince (voiced by Troy Baker). That only implies that the streets will be likely devoid of civilians but presumably teeming with thugs.
When it comes to the characters, Dollmaker, Maxie Zeus, Two-Face, Killer Moth, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Anarky, Ventriloquist, Blockbuster, Dusan al Ghul, Cornelius Stirk, Mad Monk, Dala and The Riddler will join "Batman: Arkham Insurgency." The gamers can also expect Lucius Fox, Barb Gordon, and Alfred to help Batman in the game. Meanwhile, as for the main villains, the members of the Court of Owls will be the antagonists.
On the other hand, Batman will not be alone in his journey and fight for Gotham City's soul. The famous sidekick of the comic-books, Robin, will also be a playable character now. In previous speculations, Damian Wayne is rumored to be Robin, but some report confirms that Dick Grayson will be the one.
"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will be available on PS4 and Xbox One consoles, and it can also be played on PC platform. However, there is still no confirmation if it will be available on Nintendo Switch.
