After the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" made a short appearance on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, the title has remained on the top of the most requested games on the Microsoft feature. Apparently, the mistake of making it available on the feature brought hope to fans that indeed, Microsoft will eventually include the game.
This week two new titles arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. They are "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet" and Sid Meier's "Civilization Revolution." Aside from the BC feature, Microsoft's Xbox has a lot more to offer like the monthly Games with Gold and Deals with Gold for all Gold Live members.
Meanwhile, expect more new titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list this coming week. The Major Nelson site and Twitter page releases new titles every Tuesday and Thursdays. Also, it could be that the next edition of the backwards compatibility list will bring new Triple-A games that you never expect to arrive.
For fans, the hope of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" coming to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature lies mostly on the fact that it happened before; in the case of the "Red Dead Redemption" game. Almost two years ago, the RDR game appeared on the backwards compatibility feature, and it was even made playable at the time. Shortly after, it was unceremoniously taken out from the feature.
In July last year, Microsoft finally included the RDR game on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature; making it one of the biggest games that ever arrived on the feature. The same thing with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," fans hope to see it soon on the backwards compatible catalog.
