Fans should not get their hopes up to see "Elder Scrolls 6" at Bethesdaland, Bethesda's own live E3 showcase that is happening on June 11, Sunday. Instead, it is most likely that "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind" will debut at the event alongside "Fallout 4" VR and more.
Bethesda's first own E3 briefing was organized in 2015. So this coming June, it will be the third time that the publisher of the Fallout series and the Elder Scrolls series will hold its own live showcase at the Sony E3 conference.
The publisher has already set the date for its own E3 briefing way back in February but it has not its event a proper name, only until now. Bethesda has set a trend when it announced three years ago that its conference would be happening the day before everyone gets busy.
"Sunday before E3 getting busy. Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery. Bethesda E3 Showcase will still be Sunday pm," Bethesda tweeted.
Square Enix quickly followed by making their own showcase and this year, Microsoft's Xbox will be holding its own press conference for the first time on June 11, the same date with Bethesda.
After Microsoft's announcement, some fans speculated that Bethesda might change their schedule but they didn't. They even took to Twitter firmly confirming that their own press briefing will remain on the original announced date and jokingly said, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
The E3 conference will be used by Bethesda to reveal its upcoming slate of titles, but for now, it is still unsure which titles will be shown off. Some are guessing that the publisher and developer will show off their upcoming VR version of "Doom" and "Fallout 4". "Prey" and "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind" will mostly likely debut at the event, too.
Bethesdaland will take place in Los Angeles on June 11 and the gates will open at 6:30 pm. More info is expected to be revealed in the coming days as Bethesda mentioned that details on the conference will be coming soon.
