Fresh information suggests that the upcoming flagship phablet from Xiaomi, the Mi Note 3, would be arriving with monstrous specifications.
Xiaomi has confirmed it officially that the Mi 6 flagship phone would be launching on April 19. However, the company also has a flagship phablet under the wraps that is speculated to launch within the first half of this year. According to Phone Arena, an unnamed source has revealed that Mi Note 3 will be arriving with monstrous specifications.
Like most flagship phones of this year, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is also rumored to be driven by Snapdragon 835 SoC. The upcoming Xiaomi MI 6 is speculated to come in RAM options like 4 GB and 6 GB, but the Mi Note 3 is rumored to be include 8 GB of RAM. As far as storage is concerned, the Mi Note 3 is pegged to come in options like 128 GB and 256 GB. It is speculated to house a 4,070 mAh battery. The Mi Note 2 from 2016 also features a 4,070 mAh battery.
Just as the predecessor phone, the MI Note 2 features a 5.7-inch dual edge screen, the upcoming Mi Note 3 is also rumored to be coming with a same-sized dual-edge display. Xiaomi has not revealed much information on the sales performance of Mi Note 2. The probable reason behind it is that the Mi Note 2 sales have been marred by production issues with its dual-edge display. Samsung too had met with similar issues when it had released it first dual-edge screen phones.
The Chinese company seems to be focused in improving the building processor of Xiaomi Mi Note 3, Gizmo China reported. Speculations have it that the Mi Note 3 may get unveiled in the second quarter of 2017. Since Xiaomi has not followed a specific release cycle for Mi Note series phones, it cannot be confirmed whether the Mi Note 3 would really get announced in late Q2 or early Q3 this year.
